Following a successful launching of GIERTSEN TUNNEL AS in Malaysia last year, W. GIERTSEN AS, a family-owned and Bergen-based company formed in 1875, inked second business cooperation via Agency Agreement through its subsidiary, W. GIERTSEN HALLSYSTEM AS with ATLAS HALL SDN. BHD. Another company in the W. GIERSTEN Group is W. GIERTSEN SERVICES AS.
GIERTSEN TUNNEL AS is a company specializing in waterproofing of tunnels and rock caverns for underground infrastructure and installations, while W. GIERTSEN HALLSYSTEM AS has been a leading supplier of halls for use in industrial, leisure, peacekeeping and emergency relief operations since 1967.
Under the Agency Agreement, ATLAS HALL SDN. BHD. has the exclusive rights to market various types of halls, including the relocatable aircraft hangers in Malaysia. With the service agreement, these products come with guarantees. The normal fabric guarantee lasts for five years. The steel structure is guaranteed for ten years. As part of its business model, W. GIERTSEN HALLSYSTEM AS and ATLAS HALL SDN. BHD. will provide the necessary training to the local entrepreneurs who are interested to be the appointed installers for the products.
